Save it for the social :good: . I always like hearing about Pete's shit days. Mine usually involve someone sending a terse e-mail whereas Pete's gererally have some "gangsta" threatening to kill him...

Pete, just nick someone and get 'em slammed on basic. 'Awarding  ' someone with 23.5 hour bang up and no tv always made me feel better about myself......... especially if it was a scrotey Y.O. car theif :giggle:

Anyway, for some reason i'm onlt at about 5/10 cos i gotta work till 8pm again tomorrow and i havent even opened the gun cupboard to begin to sort out the hefty MG yet, let alone the WW2 wardrobe! Looks like a late one for me tomorrow night :(
My Two Cents.....

Is it working again?

Reading your woes I thought I better check my guns...

Garand... check
Tommy... check
MP40... nothing... nowt...

Bah!

The nubbin on the trigger which the linkage to the gearbox hung off had sheared right off.

Anyway after a bit of drilling and brass wire bending there's something there to replace it... and it seems to work...

So MP40... check.

Of course I hope to just use the Garand... lol... yeah right!

Blimey, I'd better check my garand tonight, normally it's reliable so I get a bit blase about it.

99% packed. Got trousers? Check! Just need to dump off a load of stuff at the second hand shop that Frau Steiner has filled up the car with. Get petrol. Get beer. Get bottle opener.

I'm giggling at the idea of a load of charity shop volunteers opening plastic bags full of "Nazi" kit!
