Most Secret!

Postby Sgt.Heide » Thu Jul 08, 2010 4:52 pm

Gentlemen, we have a green light for this operation. SFHQ has issued final security orders, which are to be considered top secret.

These are the password, callsigns and basic radio codewords for this operation, which will convey maximum information for minimum airtime and minimum use to the enemy. If you must write things down, do it on tissue paper, or something similar, allowing you to eat it, burn it, or whatever you have to do if it looks like you may be compromised. If any of this information falls into enemy hands, the entire operation will be compromised.

Password - DBAF (DOG BAKER ABLE FOX).

Callsigns

EASY 3 - SAS Hq.
EASY 4 - Other SAS radio.
EASY 5 - Jed team "Frederick".
EASY 6 - Jed team "Giles"
EASY 7 - Jed team "Ronald".

Codewords

Gold (plus numbers, grid)- Enemy sighted, EG, "Gold, 4, 235875".
Silver - In position.
Bronze - Return/am returning to base.
Steel - Mission complete. EG, "Steel, Bronze".
Brass - Enemy HQ. EG, "Brass, gold, 8, 345267".
Zulu - Compromised.

As an example, Jed team Ronald has sighted the German HQ, manned by 9 men, at grid 345987 and wants to convey this information to SAS hq.

"Hello Easy 3, this is Easy 7, over"
"Easy 3, send over"
"Easy 7, Brass, Gold, 9, 345987, over".
Easy 3, Roger, out".

Assume all transmissions are being monitored by the enemy and think before you speak. Keep transmissions short and clear. If our radios get jammed, try to work through it.

For this event, if you are captured and are still in possession of any codes or maps you HAVE to hand it over, even if it is well hidden.

This is to avoid any discomfort of being searched or places into stress positions etc.

If you managed to eat the evidence or discard it without the Germans seeing it, then that fine, but if you have it on your person when they ask for it, you MUST hand it over.

Once again, the trick is to not get caught in the first place!

Thanks

HS
