Market Garden - Aerial photos TV programme

Postby Diggah » Sun Feb 25, 2007 7:10 pm

Just spotted this for those with The History Channel. Thurs at 9pm an in depth look at Op Market Garden using recently found aerial photos for info.
Should be a good warm up and interest spurrer.

Watched it last night. I was disappointed that although they kept harking on about these new and unpresidented arial photos, they hardly showed anything of them. They showed a bit then zoomed off so actually added very little. What they did show was ahrdly ground breaking either so it was a bit of a non starter really.

Good programme tho with interviews from survivors etc. Helpful to correct what Bridge Too Far might have led me to believe ;)
