Hi Joe..
Sorry I think you have mailed me by mistake. I am not the forum member selling the Cutts compensator.
Regards Chris.

Sorry for the lack of communications, guys.
I've been trying to find a way to speed up making the compensators, and have been let down by a CNC company.

I'll try to get back to everyone today.

Another update.
I'm waiting for a prototype to come from a different CNC company.
If that's OK, it means the lathe part of the work will be CNC with the milling done on a manual machine.

No problem friend, I understand. In the meantime ive gotten my hands on a real steel Thompson Cutts compensator. Im using a dremel to shave off excess material in order to fit it over the front sight. If this fails...its a good conversation piece.

turns out i failed to relize this could have legal repercussions. i ended up abondoning the idea. too much work and no tools to do it. Thanks DADIO for making me aware of the legal issues.

I am from the US.I personally never heard of this. But better to be aware of it regardless if we decide to adhere to it.

I just thought it worth saying seen as U.K. and U.S. firearm laws are very different. It might worth you looking into New York state laws surrounding the matter, you might find that using a real compensator is completely fine (though from what I've read they can be quite collectable, so it's up to you).

Unfortunately for me New York gun laws are really strict. Compensators on real steel guns are illegal. I just might forget the real one and wait till I can get one from this guy. Like you said...the real ones are very collectable.

Ah ok, I had heard that gun laws in NY were fairly strict (by U.S. standards) with hand guns being banned in New York City. It's probably better not to ruin a piece of history for an airsoft gun anyway.

Well said friend. I have a lot to do on the gun. So ill be busy and when this guy gets the compensator in ill do it then. In the meantime of course.
