If it's preventing people from booking up, then I will go Brit.

Me too, but is early days yet, lets see how the bookings go.

I only know 'Germans' to invite and I guess Soviet would be pushing the uniform code a bit far...

Cheers

Don't forget there are plenty of people with Allied kit to loan.

Guys... I am normally a proponent of BFGs, but having been up against 12g blanks a few times and having seen what damage they can do (concussion and powder burns, not great through mesh masks!) I'd really prefer to have the limit set at 9mm blanks. There's no need to have 12g blanks in a game, 9mm are quite sufficient. 12g are actually more powerful than a mk9 thunderflash.

Oh, and I can't see this forum... d'oh!

Understood. I was quite surprised they would be allowed anyway. As you say, 9mm is more than sufficient. But I'd love to see what they are like with a 12g...maybe save it for November 5th :)

In any event, I'm not too keen on using BFGs in woodland. I prefer Pyros as they normally need to be thrown in woodland...hard to get any distance rolling a BFG amongst trees :) . Oh, and and you don't have to worry about losing them

Hmmm, let me check. Maybe they said BFGs with 9mm and not 12g.

Our electric dets will be bigger than that anyway!

I have to agree - 9mm is more than enough of a shock if it goes off close to you. And I'm working on some more allied players.

See what...?

Again as stated by another above I could go Allied if numbers are low...

From a reply given in the questions section about hicaps, do I take it you are considering reducing the ammo limits? I'm all for that if you do :good:

I can't seem to find the game times any more (apart from the end time).

What time do you want us on-site on Saturday and what time are we getting started? (10ish?) I'm coming down in the morning for this one, which will make a nice change.

Cheers

It's in the booking thread: viewtopic.php?f=190&t=13540

Notional start time of 11am.

That means we want people kitted up, ready to go at 11am.
