I'm not sure any game has ever excluded M36 uniforms but anyway, reference this particular game: viewtopic.php?f=222&t=15446&p=219224

Obviously I'm not the organiser, but yes an M36 tunic is suitable for the whole war. :good: Come and join the 26th VGD! 8)

Ok Brits not really at Bastogne, but as I believe this game represents the later fighting, therefore we could stretch the imagination as Brits were deployed on the northern shoulder later in the battle.

Of course the real prize would be getting a large group of reenactors to an airsoft event who hopefully enjoy the experience and come to more WW2 Airsoft events :good:

Could you just clarify the ammo limits?

IN THE FIELD 600 rd's per rifle/smg

Is this limit per 'life' OR for the whole game, with any resupply at the commanders discretion? ie no automatic resupply back at base if/when you get killed?

the latter sounds like a lot of fun....

Cheers

Their is tentage in the safezone if you do not want to do this.

Just a quick one do I take it from this that the `Period tentage in the line` is in the playing area?

Just to make it crystal clear IF I stay `In the Line with the Zelt` There will be NO playing after dusk. I don`t want to bed down and then get sprayed in the night by the opposition. Sounds darft but this has happened before.
Cheers

TBH it is bloody dark in those woods at night and we have stuck to our own lines before as its bloody dangerous and thats with live - no problem on night patrols but with no firing the risk is far too great. Besides neither side was very keen on night action in the Ardennes as it was just too risky

OK thats fine so long as when we have had a drink or three Hic we are not going to get sptrayed spreyyed, speyed oh shot at :D

Has any one else noticed what weekend this falls on? Bonfire night is on the Monday after, wich means most people will be having fireworks and bonfires on that weekend! Wich also means added sound affects, smells and explosions!
Just to really get you into the feel of it :good:

Unfortunately for me that is exactly why I'm probably not going to be able to attend. I have a dog that's terrified of fireworks and that will be hell night at home, even with all the drugs from the vet etc :(

Still hopefully for this event they will be able to stay at the girlfriends house, she has got dogs herself so its strength in numbers for them

I might have missed it, but is there a player cap for this event?
