You guys did look great, :good: I felt sorry for Martin with his shovel. Any extra weight can be a pain.

The shovel wasn't enormously weighty, no more than a real steel rifle, but it was a bit awkward in the rhododendrons. Boshman had kindly stuffed my engineer pack with all sorts of metal boxes and bangy things, which was a bit heavy :)

Cheers

The shovel was also quite dangerous for anyone following behind you as I can testify. It had a habit of snaring any overhead branch which soon came springing back at me. I soon learned to duck.
