I'll be coming as US Airborne, and Dom (above) as Brit, plus the two ladies we shall be bringing will have basic partisan type outfits. jerry a trick has kindly offered to lend us some weapons, and I think we're more or less sorted for othr kit (need to get ourselves some eye protection though!). It will be our first game for all four of us, so the Huns might have some fun rookie-bashing. ;)

Looking forward to seeing you all next weekend anyway. :)

I'm still undecided on weapon. Due to Stu's kindness I have a whole armoury to choose from including a BAR. However I never was much of a support gunner in the Mob I was normally part of the assaulting light pair.

I'm bringing my bar for myself to use & several other weapons for daveC & company to use.
So we will have some support weapon. :good:

The only person who I haven't seen it look "big" on was Bear from Dog Co. Its like a bloddy Carbine in his hands.

I will indeed bring my BAR, but I will be deffo using my Garand. So will be up to someone else to jump on the BAR :good:

the trick with a support weapon is to have two or three of you taking terns with it ,then nobody die's of exhaustion .

Thats the one thing I like about the Chinese Clone of the VFC as its plastic look a like wood work it cuts the weight down quite a bit.

Having done a stint on a Bren I am 100% with Dadio on this one. What a lump it was. Very pleasing, but hard work!

Right, chaps. I hope you're all familiar with the important hand signals.

Plus me legging it to the rear... an important 'withdraw, not necessarily in good order' signal. :good:
