To be held at Combat South, Wickham, Hampshire
I'd err on the side of a break. The only reason I say that I've been to games where there's a firefight going on and 30 or 40 yards behind there's a bunch of guys eating there sandwiches. Not really helping in the immersion of a WW2 engagement. I suppose a suggestion might be since there's 3 sections on each side, that at 1.00pm, 1 section on each side fall back for 15 minutes and eat then are replaced by the next one 15 minutes later. That way you'd keep 2 sections in the line over the scoff period, with the others dropping well back to eat. Keeps the fighting numbers even. 45 minutes later both sides are back to full strength. Just a thought. It would help in the mindset of following orders as WW2 soldiers did.
maybe add some recon objectives for small patrols, whilst those who want a break can do so?
Thanks for ideas gents will put them to good use
I like the idea of Razorlight. Much more realistic.
I'm a hero with coward's legs.
I don't mind, quite happy to carry bread in bread bag and steal tea from tommy!
HaHa that's fine, I have allowed a staggered 20min break for each unit, it up to those who want to use it, as long as their CO knows where they are,Breaks can be at base or back behind line away from the fighting, IN BOTH THESE AREAS EYE PROTECTION MUST REMAIN ON if you want to remove them then you have to go to the safe zone.
