scenario

Sicily 1943, Allies advance to free the island, fierce fighting from the Axis forces prevent a quick push onto mainland Italy, The village of Centuripe is heavily occupied by Axis forces who are determined to keep control of the Island, and surrounding areas, The Axis forces include a crack Fallschirmjager regiment , the Axis also has a number of Italian units on the island. Objective for the Allies to push out the Axis forces from Centuripe, this will entail clearing buildings and the surrounding area, the Axis forces are ordered to undertake a fighting withdraw to hold back the Allies so as the majority of Axis troops can be evacuated to mainland Italy.
This event is loosely based on historical fact. Briefing of unit tasks will be given on the day.
To help increase player numbers the Allies can be British, commonwealth and American Troops. US Airborne, British Airborne, Royal Marine Commando, Free French, Australia, South African, Canada.
The Axis German, Italian. Troops.
WW2 period uniforms and weapons only. ( a chance to wear summer uniforms for those that wish to)
No modern clothing, weapons or Trainers.
Ammo limit 300rds semi and automatic weapons, no loading in the field, support weapons can be loaded in field , single shot bolt action rifles can be loaded in field, units will have CP rules in play.
Bandage rules apply, no lone wolfs , no snipers,you remain as a unit taking orders from those in command.
There will be a Truce for a short lunch break in the field at your base camps. Those who have to leave the field of play for any reason please let your CO know thank you. Mortar team and support weapon team to be sorted on the day.

Hi felix yes the Bitish 1st Airlanding Brigade, There was a lot of Allied Forces involved in the Battle for Sicily.

Hey guys just to clarify the no loading rule, does this apply to everything? Gas mags are expensive for the k98s :D
