Lessons Learnt...

Postby AndyT » Mon Aug 20, 2007 11:12 pm

Just thought we could all post up the things that we learnt from the training day?

Me- waterproof your tent first....
also don't throw upwards as you shall look akin to a larger ladies shirtlike object....
don't attack a defended position by yourself with grenades and expect to come through without getting twonked
make sure you lie on the right side of the cover.....
don't get an MRE...forsooth they taste like shoite
make sure that you can close your boot....(it now functions fine)

there were many many others

Never try to over run a Bren gun position with only a few lunatics and two rounds in the rifle :)

I think that was the most rounds I've ever been hit with at one time.

Never let your Heer unit be the frontal assault whilst the Waffen SS attempt outflanking.

I think the true accurate pic about storming a Bren position is don't attack it when covered by 2 other arcs of fire
