right arm patch

Postby cjw957 » Tue Sep 09, 2014 11:22 pm

ok this may be a dumb question , but you need to take into account its me :giggle:

i know if you changed combat unit you could wear your old patch on the right from 1944 , but i recently saw a photo of a 34th reenactor with a 5th army patch on the right, which i quite liked the idea , if it was done at all

so my question is , was it done much or did he just want to use his patch

photo below :)

many thanks

Seen it all the time on dress uniforms but never combat uniforms.... that said it could well have happened. Same old story of perhaps a person(s) seeing 1 real photo of it being done and assuming it was the norm :)
