Game plan is set...

The British will advance into the Tebaga Gap and smash through the German defenses. Once they have fought hard through the days sun and reached the limit of explotation the army will brew up and rest until first light.

Then it is the LRDG's turn to go bump in the night!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

With great sadness, today I write to you to announce that the Tebaga Gap event is now cancelled due to issues with ownership of the sites that SPEC-OPS manage. Refunds we be issued in near future.

From this morning’s message exchange and in remaining transparent;

“Hi Danyal sorry to disappoint you but have been in contact with the land owners quarry is a no go. Blox is also not available as both land owners will not allow.”
“Thought they would be more flexible but no.”

This is no fault of SPEC-OPS, Mike and Chris have remained professional throughout the process. They have had site contracts for 25 years and are quite rightly not willing to jeopardise them for the sake of a game, we understand this, and hope you do to.

Although we have tried and tried to get a game on, it is looking as though we may have to tactically withdraw for the time being. As it stands, 2020 is looking to be a complete write off through covid-19.

At this incredibly frustrating and uncertain time we are feeling the bite, and I would like to leave you with a quote from a previous Squadron Leader;

“We must become comfortable, with uncertainty.”

If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact Kiel Squires or myself directly.

Dan,
