Date is 99% final but I think today is the final meeting with the mayor. I'll keep you informed.

So I guess date was not 99% final. :slap: Final and confirmed date: 11th, 12th,13th and 14th of October. Place: Vizinada, Croatia. We can expect even nicer weather and hopefully more flights from UK to Croatia. Facebook announcement coming shortly.

I have just looked at ferry for the dodge and trailer and 4 of us and it’s under £200 return, so with Fuel and shift driving should be ok

Kelly's heroes 2 rulebook

Postby Oberst Steiner » Mon Apr 09, 2018 12:35 pm

Kelly's Heroes 2 rulebook (unfinished)

These are unfinished rules of engagement for this event. I'll upload any changes as they are made. You are free to ask any questions and I'll try to clarify them even further.
General rules

Rules of engagement:

1) Ammunition & guns
• WATCH OUT FOR CIVILIANS, WE WILL PLAY IN POPULATED PLACE
• WW2 era guns only(no exceptions, we try to be as realistic and true to the period as possible)
• Each player may only carry ammunition in magazines – no extra ammo per person is allowed
• There will be ammo left in the base where you may reload magazines to their full capacity!
• Choose one person per group who may carry extra ammo and resupply the rest of the team
– see combat enginieer/pionier rule
• The allowed weapons in matches/major events are: AEGs, GBBs, Spring replicas, Bolt action replicas, semi-auto snipers.
Bladed and edged weapons are allowed in events (like knives, bayonets), but any use of them that would result in bodily injury to other participants is strictly prohibited, so those weapons can ONLY be used as tools.
Any handling of cold weapons that results in bodily injury to participants of an event will be reported to law-enforcement agencies, and will be sanctioned in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
• It is forbidden to shoot at the historical vehicles except german armored vehicle
• It is forbidden to use weapons outside of the game area
Weapon chroning will be preformed with 0,20g BBs or recalculated into 0,20g if BBs of different mass (weight) are used.
Croatian airsoft federation rules are:
Assault rifles/submachine guns/hand guns – up to 400 FPS or 1,49J (joule)–1,56J
Machineguns – up to 450 FPS or 1,88J–1,96J Player cannot shoot at enemies that are 15 meters or closer to him. Sidearm is required.
DMR rifles (with scope) – up to 500 FPS or 2,32J-2,42J Player cannot shoot at enemies that are 20 meters or closer to him. Sidearm is required.
Sniper rifles (with scope) – up to 600 FPS or 3,34J-3,46J Player cannot shoot at enemies that are 30 meters or closer to him. Sidearm is required.
For example – kar98 without scope is in assault rifle/submachine gun category but with scope it's a sniper. M1 Garand is in assault rifle/submachine gun category as it wasn't used as sniper in ww2 (at least not much), Springfield M1903 is only sniper rifle with scope.
• Firing inside buildings(enclosed spaces):
All replicas must be switched to semi-auto(single) when inside buildings or enclosed spaces.
If one is firing from inside a building (i.e. from a window) towards open ground, full automatic is allowed regardless of what class that weapon is.
If one is firing from open ground towards a building, full automatic is, likewise, also allowed regardless of the class of the weapon.
Machine guns and sniper rifles(including DMRs) cannot be fired in buildings and enclosed spaces, regardless of the class they fall into. They can only be fired from inside buildings towards open ground or vice versa.
• Magazines:
Only lowcap and midcap magazines are allowed for use with an AEG replica(this rule excludes machine guns class 2, which are allowed to have hicaps).
Hicap magazines are strictly forbidden. If midcap or lowcap magazines do not exist for a given replica,
it is allowed to use hicaps under the condition they are limited in the amount of BBs they can be loaded with(max. 120). (lex stg)
There is no limit on the amount of magazines a player can carry other then general ammo limit.
Machine guns have no limit on the amount of BBs loaded in a magazine or the type of magazine it uses.
AMMO LIMIT FOR EVERY CLASS OF WEAPON USED:
Assault rifles – 400 BBs
Machine guns(class 1) – 2000 BBs
Machine guns(class 2) - 1000 BBs
Sniper rifles – 100 BBs
Secondary weapons (handguns) - how many magazines you take with you, that's how many you can use, no refilling in game.

• Machine guns:
Machine guns are divided into two categories:

Class 1
Classic belt-fed machine guns (MG42, MG34 / BAR 1919)
Can have 2000 BBs, if you have spare drum mags you must have asisstance from assist.gunner or other player.
- no refilling in the field

Class 2
Assault rifles in machine gun role, magazine-fed (BAR 1918 / ZB26 )
1000 BB ammo limit, drum mags are authorized for use if they are used on the replica's real-life counterpart in ww2.

A machine gunner MUST have a sidearm (secondary weapon) of class 1 or 2 so that he/she can engage targets closer than 10 meters or in close quarters/buildings

Refilling is only done on previously established ammo points on the playing field/terrain (established by the organizer) or ammo carrier (see combat engineer/pionier rule)

1.1) Pyrotechnics

• It is allowed to use commercially available pyro.
• Use pyro sensibly!
• It is forbidden to use pyro in close quarters and houses, they are not abandoned.
• It is forbidden to use pyro against the historical vehicles except german armored vehicle (and on any vehicle it's owner gives his permission).
This rule will be upgraded to take into account TAG grenades for cannons, bazookas, mortars and such.

2.) Shooting and hits

• A hit to any part of the body is valid. Hit person must immediately shout “HIT” and fall to the ground! – see AMS (advanced medic system) rule!
• Talking after being hit - You are not allowed to talk to other players while you're waiting for the BLEED OUT time to expire.
You are only allowed to yell "medic" or "hit/out/dead" when needed.
• The so called "Blind shot" is strictly FORBIDDEN. The rule implies that a player SEES what he/she is shooting at.
Shooting behind a corner or shooting overhead so that the player can't see what he/she is shooting at can lead to injury to other players, or hitting a person without protective eye gear (a civilian).
• Moving after being hit
Players that are hit can be moved by "live" players in a way so that they are dragged or carried. (When being dragged the "dead" player can help the "live" player out by pushing off, but this can be done ONLY when he/she is supported by the friendly "live" player). A "dead/hit" player CANNOT use his weapon.
A "dead/hit" player cannot move from the spot he/she was hit on, but if the said player is in a line of fire he/she is allowed to crawl or move to cover. If an already hit player is shot again he/she is supposed to shout out "Hit/dead!" again and wave the orange vest (killrag).
We want to emphasize the importance of that after being hit, the player has to stay in one place rather then to move around and observe the battle and events around him.
After the bleed out time has expired, the player is supposed go back THE SAME WAY he/she came in and go to the nearest respawn point. When the "dead" player is walking by or around "live" enemy players, the player in question is supposed to notify them that he/she is "dead" by shouting out "Dead man walking!"
It is strictly forbidden for "dead" players to walk through enemy positions and reveal individual positions of enemy players

• A hit to weapon don't eliminate player, only weapon – see combat engineer/pionier rule
• Hit person in a vehicle must immediately shout “HIT” and stop shooting, the driver then stops the vehicle . – see AMS (advanced medic system) rule!
• Friendly-fire is a valid hit!
• If player with medic/sanitat role is hit, only second medic/sanitat can heal. Protect yours Medics/sanitater!
• Respawn times (may be changed according to the number of players):
o ALLIES 20 – 40 – 00 minutes on clock (every 20 minutes – i.e. 10:20, 10:40, 11:00)
o AXIS 20 – 40 – 00 minutes on clock (every 20 minutes - i.e. 10:20, 10:40, 11:00 )

3) Medics
• Medic has 5 minutes to heal a player after he has been hit. He uses his AMS cards and follow written therapy on card. - see Advanced Medic System rule
PROCEDURE:
When a player is hit, he/she can call for a Medic before the Bleedout time(5 minutes) expires. The Medic runs up to the hit player and takes out the AMS cards in a way so that the player can't see the content of the cards(cards facing down).
The player then chooses one of the cards from the stack, and the Medic follows the instructions on the card!
• Hit player leaves the bandage in a crate at the re-spawn point for the medic to use.
• IN CASE MEDIC USES ALL HIS BANDAGES IN THE FRONTLINE, HE MUST GO TO THE RE-SPAWN POINT FOR NEW BANDAGES!

4) Props

• It is forbidden to damage or destroy props.
• Use props only in accordance with the scenario.

5) Gear

• Only WW2 era clothes, uniforms and gear is allowed
• Protective glasses MUST be used during the whole duration of the event!
• „Invisible“ glasses MUST be used during event. No colored lens, sun glasses, mesh mask etc
• Leibermuster camo pattern is not allowed.

- Advanced Medic system and combat engineer rules coming soon
My armory: MG42, MP40, StG44, G43, M38A, P08, P38, Mauser C96, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Colt 1911, Webley Mark VI, Sten Mark II.

I am sure some of us will order TAG projectiles from gunfire.pl. I know I probably will. But even in the unlikely scenario nobody orders, you can always order them and get them shipped to Croatia. Or even to my address. I doubt any seller that sells those rounds will be at the event (as no croatian airsoft shop sells them).
