I'm normally at cold war games with Ade and Andy Crowley who I see have signed up, so I know who to pester to point me in the direction of the enemy

I would too, though I suspect that its more of an issue with numbers rather than money.

Kind thoughts all and very much appreciated. We are doing all we can to come up with a plan that doesn't cost more and allows preferred sides. Our first concern is that we are fair to our hosts and secondly that we have a special day to remember not a meh game soon forgotten. Key to this is making sure the player numbers make sense within the scenario and that there is both challenge and jeopardy - the last thing we want is stalemates and stand-offs potting away from behind twigs. Anyhoo, things are looking hopeful at the moment, not dismal, but we could definitely do with a bunch more players...
