Fingers crossed...

At the moment it's 2-1 in favour of a sunny day, with only the BBC (aka Met Office) predicting rain all day.

Oh dear. Wet weather is looking highly likely. Bring a waterproof layer!

Pessimist! I don't mind rain in play (can be awesome) but don't like being wet afterwards. Meh, look at the forecast late Friday and we might have a better idea.

We can try and pack the fly sheet as well, just have to see what space is in the car.

Good plan, Headshot has the CiA tarps! A dryish social would be tops.

I also have a crappy white gazebo thing that we can throw some camo tarps over.

Heh, no point in banking on a forecast yet - still contradictory. One says a spell of light rain in the afternoon, another a thunderstorm late afternoon (excellent). Either way, it looks showery not a cold day of sheeting rain, so not bad really. Much prefer that than a baking day. Mmmmnnn, baking day - Dean's birthday cake!

Plus, the odd spot of rain always helps with the beret shaping. :giggle:

Looks like it'll be a bit damp tomorrow, still I guess it'll be similar to the real conditions of June '44

And as an old friend of mine would always say..." stop moaning about the rain...your skin is waterproof"

There is going to be a nice breeze so we shouldn't get too steamy. I've been cutting back a big tree this morning and I was sweating cobs as the humidity is so high and the air so still.

Anyway, sunshine and showers with the possibility of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Light breeze building to windy. Probably no rain for the Friday or Saturday socials.
