The lower receiver is ABS plastic, the upper receiver is metal, and so is the barrel. As standard, the 'wood' will be plastic "faux wood", but real wood kits can be added. metal lower receivers can be added too (I've done so to mine, but to be honest, the difference is not that noticeable in looks or feel)
