Hi Guys I have a China copy of the Marui 1911A1 brought a while back. Comes with trades.
It worked 50% of the time. So i tried to address some of the faults.
The slide wouldn't lock back so i shimmed out the part which clips into the slide. This has improved slightly but not as much as i hoped.
The pistol sometimes goes full auto. (fine if thats your thing, but I didn't want that) So I stoned the surface of the part which comes straight up off the frame and into the slide. I also cleaned and relubed However single shot can be achieved 100% of the time if you squeeze the trigger gently to breaking point and release.
Occasionally the slide will go back and get stuck on the hammer. Have stoned the top part of the hammer with artificial sapphire but propabbly could do with a new guarder loading nozzle as I think its the China's loading nozzle fault.
Because of this the pistol does not look new but I can assure you it has never been skirmised and only fired less than 200 rounds when I was trying to improve realability of it.
