Okay this is a SPRING 1928A1 in abs plastic, not an AEG, just to make that clear.

Makes a great wallhanger or good for photos etc., the shape and length looks better than the aeg thompsons. Get the 1928 look without spending £180 on replacement reciever parts!

I picked this up with the hope that it could be turned into a decent 1928 thompson for a commando impression as it has all the features (cutts compensator, ribbed barrel, top cocking handle, removeable stock, lyman sight etc.) but I picked up an M1A1 instead and I'm happy with that.

The stock is removeable using the button on top like the 1928 models and it still has the rail to fit the pistol grip front end under the forestock. Fires fine and cocks relatively easy although I've never really used springers. It also has nice engraved trades too. It has had the sling hoops removed but I can pop them back on if required. The screws for them are bright steel modern ones though but new black ones are about £1 a pack at a hardware store.

Pop a lipo inside and have a stockless Thompson! Or use a surface connector on the stock and have a gun that'll fit in the real carry bags.
