For sale is my Springfield. This is a one of a kind build, you don't see these around that often.
VSR converted springer with original Springfield stock and parts. No gas so a consistent outcome every time whatever the weather. All metal and wood. Attached is a 1938 .22 Weaver scope converted with a modern eye piece to look like the original.
FPS is around 350-360 but can easily be upgraded to higher 'sniper' FPS. Just add a stronger spring 'voila'.
Comes with repro sling, gun bag, cheek pad, 5 TM magazines and internal parts have been upgraded with a teflon cylinder, tightbore barrel and VSR specialised trigger mechanism.
Given the cost of the internal upgrades, scope and original Springfield parts (from the US) this project cost easily in excess of £1000, however, I am under no illusion that I would get that same price for this beautiful rifle.
