Considering the sale of my VFC BAR. The main reason is two-fold, firstly that my first born has just arrived (Lucas Altair Berry 7lb 13oz) and secondly this beautiful weapon doesn't get used.
This is a very rare piece and I have looked after it dearly since it was acquired about a year ago.
The cocking mechanism has been taken out as it obstructed the mags fitting snugly into the magwell and. The cocking mechanism can be replaced in 5 mins if necessary but I'd recommend keeping it out for skirmishability.
The only real issue is the hop-up unit. It is like an AK hop unit but has a slight issue. It slowly 'unwinds' itself. This might be fixable by tightening something up, adding a washer to the adjuster, but to be honest, it hasn't bothered me. The hop is in a good place and can be re-adjusted very easily.
Its in great condition, the wood and metal work is in excellent condition. This also includes the limited edition bipod and carry handle. The mags are hard to get hold of... included are 8 of them. Each is a 190 round highcap and feeds superbly. It has a replica M1928 BAR sling too.
£800. No ridiculous offers. If I don't get £800 or very close to that amount, I'd rather keep it. Its a real show-stopper but deserves use.
I would consider swaps for an upgraded Tanaka Kar98k but I'd prefer cash for the young one.
*Edit* Might be selling a 6mm Marushin M1 carbine with 3 mags soon too, PM with any offers if interested. This is not a definate yet.

M1 carbine is sold, as shown in its sale thread.
The BAR could have some pictures taken if genuine interest is shown that justifies me unwrapping it. Its packaged up (for the previous buyer) and good to go. If anyone really needs pictures then I will take some.

I'm very interested, but face a couple hurdles. One, I just registered on this site, so can't PM you. Second, I live in the USA. Lord knows if we could arrange to ship a toy gun, bipod and mags across the Atlantic.

Many thanks for the interest but this post will sort most out.
Firstly, I'd consider interesting swaps but an LSW isn't something I'd like. Primarily I'd like a new rifle of some sort, WW2 or modern, Tanaka preferred, others considered.
Secondly, I won't post abroad due to insurance/import legislation. Not worth the hassle.
Thirdly, I'm not splitting anything from the package unless the buyer of the weapon doesn't want them.
£600. Priced to sell. I now have my eye on something else. If this doesn't sell at this price or close to it before the other item goes, it will be stored and removed from sale.
