Earlier style (short buttstock cap) walnut K98k stock for sale. This was off a Russian capture rifle which has now been restocked with a laminate stock, making this one redundant. The shellac that it was coated with has been removed and the stock has been fully re-oiled with Ballistol instead making it feel nicer (melting shellac in your hand when the gun gets hot is not a pleasant feeling!). As it is from a Russian capture, there is a 1.5in x 1in patch just at the base of the handgrip. There is also a stain which was present when we bought the gun towards the end of the buttstock which you can see on the picture. Some markings present on metal. Cleaning rod included. Nice, lighter weight period stock to finish off your rifle with.
