So, thinking about what to cover and making it 'different' to previous training events how about if we list here possible topics to cover.
Here is a few to start:
1. Weapon maintenance.
There are many people who have never split a gearbox for fear of ballsing up (lord, the number of guns I have broken when 'fixing' them ). So, a module run by Kermit on AEG spring replacement etc.
2. Grenade use. Familiarity with pyro and BFG grenades - loading, range and effective lobbing.
3. Sniper. The sniper role in airsoft battles - scope zeroing, know your range, spotting the enemy etc - Pete's job!
4. NCO - leadership, communication and selflessness
5. Communications - hand signalling, radio coms, phonetic alphabet
6. Surviving in the field - shelter, sleeping, eating, drinking
7. The support gunner - application of fire, keeping the gun "fed", fire control orders
8. Basic parade drill - separate for US, German and Brit
9. The well dressed soldier - correct wearing of belts, webbing, rifle slinging - separate for US, German and Brit
10. Camouflage and concealment
11. Tactics: attacking a fixed position, patrolling, defending an objective

Rule No. 1 for amateurs taking gearboxes apart is "dont attempt repairs in your car, the middle of the site or unfamiliar surroundings where you don't have access to a full toolkit". Plus, to be perfectly honest, I don't want to do it - It's far too close to what i do for the magazine, and I do WW2 Airsoft for a bit of R&R.

I wasn't for one minute suggesting field repairs! This is a training event - all that is required is a basic 'how to open up your gun and put it all back together again'. Never been done before AFAIK. No problem if you don't want to do it, just thought you might want to share a little knowledge.
Anyhoo, suggestions please, including what you can personally bring to the table.
I'm more than happy to do modules 3, 10 and 11 if required (although perhaps a "fresh" face for cam & con may be better?). Could also do module 4 if push came to shove. Bear in mind though, I'm as of yet unable to confirm my availability on the date.
Site suitablilty pending, how about a snap shooting "jungle lane" style range? Can be done with aeg's and/or pistols and really ram home those MED's to people.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
I'd be happy to run a fitness, drills and calisthenics module.
Apologies for my attitude last week, had a lot on my plate and was starting to have a go at those who didnt deserve it.
Happy to do any of the following:
1. Weapon maintenance (will be a *basic* field maintainence though)
6. Surviving in the field - shelter, sleeping, eating, drinking
7. The support gunner - application of fire, keeping the gun "fed", fire control orders
9. The well dressed soldier - correct wearing of belts, webbing, rifle slinging - separate for US, German and Brit
Could I suggest that we start brainstorming a list of kit we need for each though. i.e. be nice to get a Bren as well as the MG42 for the support gunner stand, and even better if we could get a .30 cal as well.
