Cheers. I'm not worried about the camo, just about the kit turning up. SoF haven't been too bad the past couple of times I've used them though. I originally planned to get the cap & smock from elsewhere but both had dropped in price on SoF so I couldn't resist.

So did the Brits supply the froggies with steel helmets as well as guns and battledress?
I'm trying to find a valid reason for wearing my MK2 infantry lid rather than the airborne one. It's almost half the weight and I can easily carry it outside the Bergen.
No need for helmets chaps. They were ditched straight after the jump and regular hats (beret, hbt cap) were used.
It's one of Pete's and Stu's fibre glass jobbies, so weighs very little anyway. Better for camouflage than a jeep cap too

Good.
I'm taking my airborne lid, just in case it rains!

But how are you going to carry it when the rain stops and it's baking hot? I've given up trying to find a way to cart around 1.5 kilos of bulky and annoyingly shaped steel
As soon as we get our Jedset Team Frederick will be radioing a request for umbrellas and straw boaters to be included in the next drop. With our burnt cork and civvie knitwear we should look a little like this:
Try as I might, I just can't resist referring to us as "team Friedrich"! Maybe it'll confuse the Jerries, too.
