OK,
What weapons are we all planning on taking/using. We can organise section roles then.
I will have No.4 for definite and 1928 Thompson if parts from AZR have arrived.

I'll have all my usual selection... but the Sten MkV and No4 will be my more likely primaries.

1928 thompsons are nice, but probably weren't used by the brits in the battle we're doing... but then they'd be more appropriate than an M1A1... lol

Go with whatever you like ;)

oh the yanks seem to think they have some sort of major fighting force... meh they look like a load of over-the-hill, unfit, old blokes to me... oh hang on, that's us! ;)

I don't have a great deal of choice so it will be the 1928 (fingers crossed) or M1A1 if we have been let down!

I'll be Commander of Allied forces (North) but haven't yet decided whether to actually play as Monty or do it as the usual Major...

I'll have plenty of MP40 mags with me Nige.

just spoke to an ex gunner who served in ww2 . apparently if you enlisted ( as he did) and had a tash, you could keep it. if you were called up for conscription and had a tash it went. but i bet that was on a regimental/divisional think, not set in stone.
