Oh the Americans like to have their many NCO ranks.
A staff Sgt is, on paper, the NCO in command of a squad with the Sgt as the squad 2nd in command and the corporal.... somewhere else.
They also have many numbers of technical Sgt I believe which I can make head nor tale of - I think they have to do with specialist roles, hence technical. (you can tell this reply is written of the top of my head due to both the distance between me and my bookshelf and my inherent lazyness).

I have normal sarge stripes on mine Cap', which suits my rank fine, unless you want me to blow stuff up with betty ('zooka), and i can put my technician ranks stripes on.
Normal should be fine, Matt. We haven't really managed to write the bazooka into any scenario I'm afraid, so it's up to you whether you want to bring it.
