Hello all
I'm not sure what it's like on the Axis and Allied forums, but the level of involvement on the DRW forum is fucking awful.
Despite numerous posts there's been no response to a reasonably important thread.
I suspect the Axis are a little more involved, possibly because that requires a little more commitment.
Would it be a good idea to send an email to all those who have booked to 'gently encourage' their involvement in this game if they want it to work?
Cheers

I can send a bulk email to them...
There's probably the same amount of posts on the Axis forum for Arnhem that there was for the Bulge. But (and its a big but), i'd say that 90% of those posts are from a core group of 7 or 8 players. So that leaves thirty odd saying nowt...

Hi,
I'm not sure if you guys have noticed but there are some important items to discuss that require your input.
We're rather disappointed with the lack of input so far.
These items have been brought up to make the game a lot more interesting for you. If you could take a look at them then that would be really appreciated.
Many thanks,

That's great Yith, thanks.

I don't see that as a great problem though, many folk read but don't speak on forums - maybe we could add a monitoring mod to the forum so that we could see if people have accessed the forum recently?
True, for every person who posts, there must be a fair few "lurkers". Just look at ASCUK. 12000 members, but only a couple of hundred (if that!) who post with any degree of regularity.

It's just the lack of photographs sent and the 'please confirm you have read this' with only me replying that has raised my concerns that no-one is actually reading it!

Yith's email stirred Diggah into action so let's hope it does the trick with the others.
Tell you what. I'm still completely underwhelmed by the response from players about the game. Especially as it's only a week and a half away!
Do we have a finalised scenario and orders written up yet?
