Tent wise, a cheap pop up tent would do (£25) and Coffee...hell yes :good:

having never done this before, how much should i put aside to buy bb's for the weekend, aside from hiring a rifle.

A bottle of 3000 should see you for a month at ww2 games unless you run an MG in which case 20 minutes lol

most of these tents are two man, so there should be someone willing to accomodate me.

They can be a bit, erm, 'snug' though, once you've got two people's kit in there as well!

If you have a look on ebay, you can get one for less than £20 posted.

Sigsy I have a French Army two man tent that you can have for free. I'll bring it on the Friday for you. It's military canvas so you can use it "In game" at any event. It was given to me but I'm too old to fit into such a small space, so you can have it. Believe me you wouldn't want to share a confined space with any of us snoring farting old gits

If you want to 'period camp' it, then I can easily bring along a second WW2 dated Brit' tent (both of my tents are kept in the same tentbag, so both usually come along with me anyways!). All you need to do is bring along a groundsheet/two gascapes/a square of tarp as they don't have them "built in" and I only have enough groundsheet for one tent at the moment.

Theyre easy to put up. I'll be in the plastic fantastic camping area, no idea where that is, I'll find out when I get there, that's all part of the fun :)

Now the location has changed, are the advertised game on and game over times still the same?

There's a period section and a plastic section for camping, so as long as you stay in the plastic area you'll be fine ;)
