ok having been through all the missions reports that were completed including the 2 that were not filled in by the brits (but lucky for you i saw the evidence on the intel camera and the passes stamped)

it was a tough day with both sides completing their orders many times , with some good fights along the way

some highlights,

German Zug 1 after a slow start and a lot of mud , managed to booby trap the village, with many booby traps that went off (and some that did not lol) , blew up a Allied fuel dump (turns out mk9s are loud) , a allied fuel truck went the same way as the fuel dump, valiant defence of the supply depot , retrieved a rare portrait of the fuhrer himself and completed patrols including shooting one of their own by mistake in the back when returning from a mission and more

German Zug 2 also with a slow muddy start managed to mine close to the german checkpoint, which later killed 2 american soldiers :) completed patrols, attempted to take out 4 damaged trucks but after 2 were forced to retreat due to heavy losses, got supplies for the squad and the medic, and lastly a hard fought mission into enemy held territory to retrieve some italian gold coins , which after enemy contact after enemy contact managed to make it back to a new rendezvous point issued by high command.

American Squad after laying down a barb wire perimeter around the farmhouse set out on missions deep into enemy territory, retrieved supplies of german cash and stolen italian gold coins, helped range in Allied artillery on locations , then later took and seized the German supply depot and blew it up and gained a resupply for the squad before carrying on with patrol missions.

British Squad took control of what was left of the hotel and mined it against enemy incursions, recovered stolen masterpieces (well would have if i took them out into the game lol), completed patrols , overrun the village when heavily defended by Germans, recovered stolen italian gold, gained intel on the German HQ, helped the passage of british agents by gaining travel papers and more, in fact completed the most missions :) and as a bonus turns out one brit blew himself up with his own grenade. (that is a very 34th way of doing things :giggle: )

So all 4 squads did a large amount of missions and helped their sides war effort but i know there will be a few who want to know who won on the day .....so drumroll

war effort rating

Axis - 1020

Allied - 1035

So the allies WIN it by the skin of their teeth :good:

So Congrats to both squads , well played :)

but being a german and us having smaller squads ;) i am awarding a moral victory to the germans who win a ton of mud on our boots

Many thanks for all those that came, the day seemed to go well and with a few new players to WW2 airsoft and airsoft i cant have hoped for more, once again we had great weather (long may it last)

any photos you may have taken , put on the photo page if you can :)

:mexican: :mexican: :mexican: :mexican:

If only we could have held onto The Supply Depot for a little longer! Fair dues to the Yanks though, as they pushed up through the undergrowth despite the barrage of grenades and pushed us out of the Depot.

Another close result, ze Germans always seem to start slow. Some say this is because it takes a while for a new squad to gel. Others say that its because by the afternoon everyone is getting to know the site so it takes less time to complete missions.

However I believe that untill ze Germans capture some supplies and issue the German equivalent of Red Bull (Scho-Ka-Kola choclate) we just dont move fast enough. So next time I will issue a general order for all Germans to have Scho-Ka-Kola for breakfast and buzzing with a caffiene overdose we cannot lose
