In keeping with the 'canvas village' of many airsoft events here are TWO military issue British Army olive drab rip-stop canvas pup tents - post war 1950's/60's/70's/80's. Used by myself at WW2 and Vietnam events and also loaned out to other players - very practical and simple kit. I had forgotten how roomy they are - more than enough for a burly airsofter and all his kit! Very quick to put up, managed it in 120 seconds with the help of one person holding the first pole for the first 30 seconds. Can be erected single handed if you think about it first. Waterproof of course. Canvas is pretty opaque so you won't get woken up on light mornings. On warm nights you can open one or both ends for ventilation.

One tent bag is marked 1981, the other 1988. One of the mallets is dated 1932.

Two complete kits comprising:
Eight wooden tent pegs and thick guy lines
2 poles
Mallet
Lace up ends - no zips or buttons, one end shaped to store kit in
Storage bag in rip-stop canvas
Floor space 7' x 6'
Pitching Space 13'6" x 6'6"
Height at Ridge 3'
Area 42² feet.
Weight 12lb / 6kg

Chris, are you taking both? Otherwise I would be interested in one. Cheers Lutz

Sorry Luiluei (heh, I named my first mouse Lulu in the 1960's  ), pipped to the post there. Well, tent pole. Surplus and Outdoors sell these for £50 (oh, just seen they have WW2 brown ones too at £70 and I guess they will need waterproofing). You might find cheaper than S & O if you have a proper old fashioned Army surplus place your side of London.
