Hi Gadge

Can you tell us where? I am thinking of adapting some 49 BD and it will be easier with patterns.

Your main problem is the collar

I made a 49 into an officers pattern '40 in minutes but the collar is only really ok as an officers privatley retailored job.

I'll dig out eh scnas for you an dput them on here.

I've sure there is no copyright infringement on 60 year old gov work unifomrs.

here we go, probably not as useful as i remember them being as you'll need to scale em up.

i think each of the four pages is to scale with itself.

i cant be sure otherwise.

i think you'd have to enlarge copies and lay them against obvious features on a repro or original to get ti bang on.

I'm no seamster...

I was curious from the point of someone who can sew, not a seamstress, but I've been faffing with lots of patterns recently up-scaling them onto greaseproof paper, hence asking if its to scale. Not personally going to make the ensemble, was merely curious.

She's recut most my barry lyndon unifomrs so they fit like they were made for me....
