Hi all,

Do you think these are any good as a cheap alternative to denison smocks?

Er.. that's a hell of a lot to pay for a fairly poor smock!

You certainly used to be able to get those for around a tenner.

Anyway, they are :

- too short
- the wrong pattern
- have a full zip
- the wrong type of pockets

Also, it's hard to tell from those pics, but similar smocks ususally have the cloth impregnated with some nasty stuff that makes them very thick and inflexible.

I'd save that bit extra and get a decent repro.

i bought one of these. Theyre ok, but i did eventually move on and buy an SOF one. They certainly are a lot shorter and bearly cover the unmentionables when you have webbing on!
