Hi all, just bought some ammo boots second hand for a good price but they are bee's waxed.
Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the wax?
Thanks Craig

Unfortunately it's impossible to remove completely... It permeates into the leather and makes it hard.

To remove the surface stuff a blowtorch is one way to go... it'll melt it and then it can be scraped off.

Be careful not to burn the stitching away too much.

I bought a pair of ammo boots bulled to a high shine. I just put a hairdryer on it and rubbed - it all flaked off. Using a blowtorch will make the leather go hard if it isn't already. Slap some thin applications of nice soft black dubbin on, let each layer absorb leaving it overnight for each application (or use gentle heat from a hair-dryer if you want to speed things up) until the leather won't suck in any more. Wipe off excess with a rag, give it a buff, job done.
