Hey Guys,
I just got a British Great coat off ebay for the winter games and it comes with 2 sets of Lieutenant Metal pips (Or so the description said)
I dont know jack about brit officer insignia, or whether this is actually WW2 issue, I think the coat may have been from WW1... but who's counting!
Anyway, free to a good home if any1 wants em, I'm sure this is directed more at Gadge more than anything!
Yup, i'll happily have them off you, pips are pips, they've not changed much in 60 years!
Cheers webby.
thats cheered me up a bit, very kind of you.

Look like the need a brit of the ol' brasso though! hahaha!
Believe it or not brown sauce works about as well as brasso.
As does soaking stuff in cocacola overnight.

As does worecester sauce. Brasso Wadding or Liquid PPL?
(And Im ignoring the last bit, its just wrong)
Also, if any brass fittments are greening or very badly corroded, soak them in neat Cillit Bang! Then give then a quick going over with brasso to remove any residue or general staining.
