Mine arrived today guys and i can wholly recommend it as IMO being the one to get for realism but not at a silly cost.

I must advise you guys though to be aware that Richard and his team (rangercamp) has CORRECTLY used 40s sizing which caught me out.

So each height size has three 'widths'

Yiths size 5 and my size 6 are BOTH for a man of 5'11" (as was done then) the 6 is roomier round the middle.

So if you're taller you'll probably going to need a seven but check first.

But it is a BRILLIANT denison.

Kit exchange

Pic later, off to hospital about the back in a bit, finally get to see a specialist surgeon about it.

Just very quickly put the two on with webbing, you cannot tell the difference TBH.

Its just a shame its too small on me, i've measured the drop and the new one is a good three inches too short.

Won't be too short on me then - if it's difficult to exchange you can sell to me!

Turns out 5'11" is the largest full zip size he does.

i'm going to stick with it and try and let out a few cm on the seams.

No i've no need for a half zip as i already have whats considered (until now anyway) to be the closest to an original repro.

To show you how good Richard/Rangercamps is i took some comparison photos, bear in mind that my Military Tours (k&c under another name) has been washed about three times.

Rangercamp smock on the left of pics, Military Tours on the right as you look at them.

And now having seen it on with kit i'm fairly happy with the size.

looks perfectly fine, mate!

plus, if it's a full zip officer's one, you can claim it was tailored to give a better fit.

Exaclty

Richard/Rangercamp offered me a larger half zip but i saw no point in haivng two of them *exactly* the same so i'll keep it its not *that* short in retrospect.

Hmm, so where do we get them from then?

This ebay site seems to be selling them - one has a couple of hours to go and the price is up to £90 + £20 postage!
