This type?

http://www.tommyspackfillers.com/showit ... mRef=VS104

or this type ...

http://www.sentimentaljourney.co.uk/sj/ ... 73yd2a0z97

(damn those SJ ones have got expensive... mine was just over half that price and I thought it was a lot then!)

Another option for the first one is to get one of these and make your own labels:

It was the first one you listed.. But I like the idea of that last one as a cheap look a like...
I also wondered about this supplierhttp://reprorations.com/Britain%20WW1/WW1-Britain.htm

Repro rations stuff is AWFUL. Mostly made up.

The ebay option is actually basically what Tommys pack fillers uses, but with nice labels. The wind shield on there is way better than repro rations.

I am pretty sure I can find an appropriate label pdf somewhere...

EDIT:

Got it...

The file is FuelSterno.jpe.

There are quite a few other yahoo groups with labels and forms etc...

it's that or a sherman tank but they may be more expensive and the shipping costs will be higher. :giggle:

They're much the same as the repros from tommys pack fillers. About the only difference I noted was the way they were pressed from one piece of metal.

buying them is one thing...using them is another. They give off about as much heat as a cigarette and unless you dig a little pit for it to contain the heat, nothing will ever come close to boiling. Good as pack fillers though.

I've just been looking at these ones on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WW2-Tommy-Coo ... 2633627%26

I'm not sure about the colour, but I suppose that'll be burnt off pretty quickly anyway. Much better price than Sentimental Journey though!

It arrived this morning and I am quite impressed with the quality.. Great as a pack filler and with a little wind break/shield I have in mind, it might even work quite well with a hexi block.
