I know that they're not that practical and I have a 1911 already but... fallen for revolvers and want one for my Brit kit.
So is the Tanaka-S&W M10 Military and Police Version the best, closest match and which sellers do you recommend as no one in the UK seems to stock them and I haven't dealt with Guns N Guys or UNcompany before.
I've got most of my guns from the UN company, never had any problems they're good guys in my experience.
I have the Bell version of the M10 and so far proved OK, but a very close range performer only. This came from the X-site shop at High Wycombe.
I've got a Tanaka M10 and i love it. While the range isn't massive, it's enough for a sidearm, and it's a robust, perfectly usable skirmish gun. Holds about 11-12 rounds too, so it's a good little back up.
Doesn't get as much use as it should though, which is a shame.
