Hello,

I am looking for WW2 SBS Pictures. I tried google and some forums but did not find much (almost nothing...). :(
Are there any good websites about the SBS in WW2? Any books with pictures?

Thank you!

Go for a look like this:

Thats an impression of an SBS raider in the med.

Very informal kit, denims, kd shirt, cap comforter, captured german Mp40 and revolver.

Its based of an illustration in 'khaki drill and jungle green' by Martin Brayley.

Thank you Gadge! Actually i found your cool impression in an older thread already :D
I would be really interested in original WW2 SBS pics, but it seems to be very
hard to find any. I know the "Khaki Drill & Jungle Green" Book, you are talking about
the picture with the guy wearing corduroys right?

Yeah i mean you have to remember they spent most their time out in the med hopping from island to island and pretty much did their own thing.

One would imagine that out of the line they looked pretty much like any army or RM commando unit.
