Need some help on SOF Denison sizing, ideally I want to look like a potato sack tied up with string without looking overly ridiculous, but I'm not sure whether to go for a size 6 or 7. I'm just over 5'11" and wear a 38" chest, so height wise I'm more leaning to the size 7 but the chest is several sizes bigger than I'd normally go for, so I thought I'd ask if anyone with similar dimension to me had any input on this matter?

[EDIT] It's also worth mentioning that I'm trying to avoid buying one that's too short for a wartime fit.

Cheers, Moss.

If SOF sizing is like most other suppliers, size 5 will look big but not too big on your frame.

Do you by any chance know the length of the size 5? My main concern is whether there's enough length to reach my mid thigh/just above my knee, I also like the idea of having room to spare in the 6 or 7 chest wise.

Hi, just picked up the SOF Kay Canvas full zip Dennison, helped speaking to staff at SOF to get correct size, at 5' 9" and 40-41 chest I opted for a size 3, tried it with a t-shirt and sweater underneath and still pretty roomy, also fairly long (about mid thigh) but not too bothered about that s it will be fine when worn with belt and webbing.
Size 4 will probably be good for you but best to speak to staff to confirm.
Hope that helps.

The baggier the better! I too am 5'11/6'0" tall, 38" chest, and I went for a size 7. I tried on size 5, 6 and 7 and went for the latter due to wanting to have a good amount of bagginess!
