BBC have just confirmed that they will be shooting their next series of Survivors in the West Midlands, bringing £6m into the local economy. Dave, they will be filming at Willington Power Station too!

Heh, good for you - err us (how very dare you call Willington WEST Midlands ).
I thought the series was completely unwatchable myself. Nothing chimed with my idea of the reality of such a scenario and I had no empathy with any of the lead characters, so it fell on stoney ground with me!
Yeah, I didn't watch it. Couldn't care less how good it is. £6m is £6m, most of which will be spent locally.
Willington is the only option close to Birmingham. All our power stations are in use.
Heh, did they put you on a bonus system - 0.01% shouldn't be noticeable in the scheme of things and would be a nice holiday!
Strange how they left the towers, all the buildings are completely recycled and removed from site now and the land ready for development. Except they can't develop as it's a floodplain and it's all gone to megalevels of enquiry etc. There are peregrines (or somesuch) nesting up on the towers, perhaps this was the reason. More likely they are putting off the expense of blasting them until they know they have a site they can develop.
