Oh, just so you all know, Martin asked me if I knew of alternative venues for the German training day. I pointed him at the paintball site people I know and he's going to do it at Finmere (near Buckingham) now, at my suggestion. The site was part of a B-17 base during the war. Nice site, great safezone and the best 30M shooting range I've seen outside of MOD sites and, it also has some nice, period features, like blast bunkers, storage bunkers and the remains of a wooden decoy Sherman.

Apparently, the Ashdown Camp people were being arsey about firing bb's at the site, saying their PLI doesn't cover it. So, rather than piss about, Martin asked me about Hilton Park. I suggested Finmere because it's closer to the southern boys but still only an hour away for most midlanders too. Not to mention the better facilities and the fact that I got camping permission for them as well (which I can't get for Hilton).
