Yep, total pussies. It never ceases to amaze me, considering how much they pay for Josh's games, that a bit of cold or wet sends them scurrying.

All this August game idea floating is a bit odd isn't it? I wish people would come to the table with firmer plans than just pitching a date and hoping for the best.

Some people have seriously overestimated the amount of Soviet players out there (a "faction" that CiA were the ones who brought to the fore, I might add!).

Oddball has already started his indecisive flip-flopping - 3/4th, then 10/11th and now as ONE person has piped up he is thinking about 3/4th again. It is going to be another 'Le Chateau' all over again.

Bigkie/lardy/Gadge's event The Luga River (just checked, you won't have seen it until now) is already on the forum but hidden - but they still haven't sorted the most important part - scenario, game plan or price

And yet people book. And then most people go home halfway through. And then Josh just makes something up on the Sunday. And then people post saying it was the best game they've been to.

So, gadge and evo get more free games by being involved with Lardy and Bigkie? Do people not see that they are SHIT as side commanders and organisers? It'll be another gunman game under a different banner, that's all. This is all getting very depressing!

I had a quick look at the Gunman chaotic forum today. I'm amazed how little there is posted on there - much of it not for months or years. He didn't and hasn't bothered to post info on the last or next Gunman WW2 game, bugger all on Webby's site section. Not much going on for Cold War or Flying Lead come to that. There are perhaps six or ten people posting site-wide and Gadge and Josh are two of them! Josh is a complete organisational mess - stuff is done so badly. Never mind the quality, feel the width.

Depressing innit? People just seem to be happy with any old thrown-together shit nowadays. As long as there's a stunt-casting of a site or some other gimmick they're happy

I know it's early days yet, given that we have no guarantee that Hut 9 isn't booked sufficiently yet but, I've just been reading up on something called "Project Paperclip", which was an immediately post war American scheme to spirit away Nazi scientists. Now, reading this, it's become apparent to me that we could easily adapt this into a game involving Americans, British, Russians AND Germans. The first ever WW2 game to include all major participants! Plenty of shooting for those who seek it, yet, plenty of sneaky for the nazi scientists on the run and being hunted by everyone, including their own side!

What say you?

I just don`t want to commit to a game where a week before the game suddenly the rules are announced with a unlimited ammo rule or 10 rounds all day or No ammo required as it is a special SOE game taking prisoners without a gun role play star wars interrogation trench digging scenario I think you get the drift

I didn't go. The missus got hospitalised on friday, after a severe asthma attack. She was discharged yesterday but, too late for me to get to the game. I must admit that missing the game didn't really bother me that much, I'm on a bit of a downer as regards WW2 at the moment anyway.
