Hi guys

Just a quickie about wrapping up the accounts and emptying the bank account. We've got about £150 in the bank (need to check) and some assets that we could sell.

The main one is the pyro det box and kit.

I reckon we should just put that up on the forum with the caveat about the battery. I think we paid about £250 for it so I reckon we ask for £150 ovno. Not sure about the rest of the set kit, some of it is beyond sale.

The only other thing is David's radio which I lost at Merville. David, did you look into how much a replacement would cost?

Ta

S

I'd put the det kit up at £100 to get rid, chaps like a bargain and it is no use to us! Shove the pup tents on at a £15 each for collection at Copenhagen. The only other thing is the mine detector which I think we can shift for £50. I'm guessing the mortars are beyond recovery now.

The PMR radios fetch £50 or so...

Who has the mine detectors?

Not sure where all the pup tents are. I think I might have one or two.

Pete has the mine detector and I think you have the pups in your loft! (There are two good green ones and possibly that brown WW2 one that was left at Husky.)

I've definitely got one of them, I'll have to check if the others didn't go somewhere else when we wrapped things up last time!

Great, sold. I guessed that Tim would buy the mine detector - is it possible to organise transfer to Steve to bring to Copenhagen, as is will be a pain to courier?

Any chance you can get that det kit up for sale Stephen? I'd be willing to bet Tim Pride will have it off us at the weekend.

Yes, I'll take some pics of it tonight and list it. Unfortunately I don't think they produce the same system anymore.

The det box is still for sale: http://www.easypyro.com/20-cue-waterpro ... ing-system

It's £342 to buy new. A new battery will cost about £10. I reckon we should put it on for about £150. Or do you think more?

I think £150 will shift it. £200 might not.

Pride has already said no (I PMd him to draw attention to it along with Josh and the guys from the 34th).

Allenby/Mattywheels/Pride - sorting out between them now, didn't want the 34th nipping in as Chris has been looking long and hard.

34th have said they can't afford it anyway.

They're talking bollocks there, because they've been using "club" funds to buy WW2 kit.

EDIT - I'm at work all week and this weekend, so, no chance of dropping the detector off. I can however, bring it to Flying Lead?

Heh, Chris was spending ages looking at that post then Tin came on and spent ages looking (and he is in China!) so I'm sure they were thinking hard. The Inglorious team are currently working out how to pay (whether one person buys it or they share the cost). That video sold it!

Just realised Tin is Martin Ryley. He of multiple pistol fame.
