CROSSROADS: Caen Outskirts - 28th & 29th May 2022

News in from Headquarters,

The RAF's, 680 Sqn, have taken pictures of Bourguébus Ridge, just south of Caen. The Germans appear to be holding a reserve there.

Join us this may for the Crossroads - Caen Outskirts airsoft event.

Enemy forces seem to be formed of the 16th Luftwaffe, 24th Panzer, 1st SS and 12th SS Panzer divisions.

So exciting!
 
The BMW R71 "Geli" will be with the Aufklärungsaufgaben (recce tasks) at the next game!
 
She will be the eyes of the commander, loaded up with an MG42 for, personal protection. Finding enemy positions before withdrawing to saftey in order to let the commander know where a route maybe clear!
 
 
Probably going to be the biigest event this year!
 
Come on May hurry up!

Momentum is slowly picking up, The British team far outnumber the Germans at this moment in time!

Where ever you go, whatever your plans this weekend, don't forgoet to spread the word! Lets make this the biggest WW2 event to date!
 
This May, the Crossroads - Caen Outskirts event is going to be the one not to be missed!
 
Bourguébus Ridge, deep in the Norman countryside will be Hell on Earth between the mighty British forces and the fanatical German SS.
 
Patrol through the hedgrows with us, ambushes at every turn. The big fight for a cross rounds to stop German reinforcements reaching Caen!

Join the fight, for the first British themed Frontline event!
 
Based on the real battle around the fearcely contested Bourguébus Ridge, South East of Caen! This was part of Operation Greenline, the pre curses to Operation Goodwood.
 
The British were to inflict huge casualties on the Germans and cause a major diversion in order to remove defenders from Caen!
 
It would prove very costly. Some German troops like 16th Luftwaffe Field Division, tranfered recently to the Heer as an Infantry Division, were not frontline caliber. The 12th SS Panzer Division was fantical however. This would lead to huge casualties on both sides.
 
It is set to be a really hard milsim battle. You will feel as though you are in Normandy, 1944.
 
Who will you fight for?

Game maps for the Crossroads - Caen Outskirts - Airsoft Event are ready to be printed!
 
The maps will have tactics hand drawn on by commanders and handed down to NCO's to copy their orders.
 
Better bring your coloured pencils. Black, Red & Blue.
