this is a video i like to watch a lot. the song is by Sabaton on of my favorite bands. they do quite a lot of songs to do with war. brilliant lyrics.

their songs alway gets me g'd up for a ww2 event or themed event.

Got both "Primo Victoria" and "Attero Dominatus", these CDs ROCK!

There are quite a few of their songs on Youtube!

My personal favorite at the moment is Panzer Battalion.

Anyone got any suggestions on 1940s cds to get hold of. I'm totally blanc on this subject :(

Depends what you're looking for. There are plenty of Brit and Yank swing tune CDs and lots of morale boosting jobbies.....'Bluebirds over...' and all that.

Otherwise, just tune into Rat Patrol Radio as listed on my thread in Off Topic.

You can't download from RPR as it's a streaming radio station.

A really good resource for sound clips and speeches from WW2 is Earthstation, which you can download from: http://www.earthstation1.com/wwii.html

You can also buy CDs from there, but I've no idea about costs and delivery.
