FallschirmjÃ¤ger - easier than you think?

As has already been stated, Heer and Waffen SS troops are amongst the historically-correct units, so if you want to portray them, all's good and proper. However, at this stage of the war, the FallschirmjÃ¤ger kit was very varied, and was already borrowing heavily from standard Heer kit stores. Green, splinter pattern or tan/water smock, or "Luftwaffe FD" splinter jacket. Standard gas mask tin or FJ cloth holder Jump boots, standard low boots or even jackboots Blue or green breadbag FJ M38 or standard M35 helmet (LW blue). LW sidecap or ski cap acceptable (although helmets were much more common in combat) K98 bandolier or leather K98 pouches, 3 or 6-mag MP40 pouches, G43 pouches (if anybody's got one!) It would be great to have a sizeable FJ contingent, so if anyone has any FJ gear they're happy to lend out, please put it in the kit lending thread.

I will be going as FJ for this one not Waffen SS tho Lardassmonkey was right that i had put that down initially...

that is of course if the Yanks do book up & I dont change to even up the sides...
