Cool, the late/post war one... Just need to swap out those bright orange tent pegs for some wooden ones.

I have a War shaped Pup tent, however instead of the rope and toggle fastening I have the press-studded 1. Even though it rained over night at Husky my kit and I remained dry.

I usually Camp if I'm doing anything the day before, If I'm close I don't usually stay over.

its taking abit of time to get my pup tent so ill have to get a modern tent
untill surplus gets mine

bloody surplus still waiting for my pup tent to come and its been 2 months now so i cancelled
the order so i got the tent from sof got it nxt day derlivery

Good plan Marsha, the 1 pictured from surplus and crap is the same 1 as mine that I got from SOF. Just need some wooden pegs now hehe

ill be using it at the training day going to try putting it on my haversack

Have you got the 'Diaper' for the haversack?

If anyone wants to borrow a tent for the training day then they can pop round to mine and borrow one of my brit pup tents on the way down if they like. I have 2 available and I live only 10mins from the site as I mentioned above!

meh... I have yet to waterproof any canvass and have never had a problem with rain.

Just don't touch the inside of the tent if the outside is wet.
