The Doughboys had their first public living history display today at Elsecar Wartime weekend. We displayed a Company HQ of th 39th Infantry Regiment 9th Infantry Division as they could have been in early 1944 whilst based in the UK.
We're back again tomorrow.

You are damn right I did. no more of that dangerous front line soldiering for me, last time clerks had to defend something was the Philippines, and that didn't go down too well.
