This is my loadout for Dragoon, this is for reference only, and is not a required look!
Drawing from the images from the 3rd ID landings just down the coast, short sleeve shirt seems to be champion for warm weather! Let's just hope the weather in June is kind!

That looks great and fortunately I can do that with no trouble at all AND it means I don't have to take the 29th ID patch off my M41.

Folk don't have to go out and buy the patch for this naturally, that patch may actually end up on my Class A for the event, rather than on the shirt.
Nice impression Webby!
Just thought I'd mention that the from looking at the original photos on another thread in this section, sleeve rolling seems to be totally optional in the US army... unlike with Brits...
Oh and it's scruffily done as well! Just like webby has there...
If this weather holds out I'll be wearing a vest...sod the historical accuracy!

We'll see, hopefully it's not this hot! I should hope no one catches you on an exposed area if you're wearing a vest! Bring your EM just in case

Most of the site is under tree cover, rather than in direct sunlight, so unless you're running around like a looney, it shouldn't be that hot.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
T-shirt under the M41 for me, if the weather stays like this.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
I don't tend to run round like a looney bit I do bake very easily...I sweated my arse off at Autumn Mist...nevermind any event in June! So vest may be on the cards, but don't worry, I'll be bringing my shirt anyway.

As long as you're not running around like Rambo...!

Yeh I forgot, also bringing 2 belts of 30.cal ammo to strap across my chest, a red bandana and a GIANT HUMUNGOUS COMBAT KNIFE!
Bit like this but with a 30.Cal not an M60...
And a wig...

haha, god bless hot shots part deux!
Lots of us managed in full wools at Aerial so I'm sure you'll survive in a shirt. I bake in hot weather too but as an NCO I feel I have to keep the standard up for the Germans so will be in a tunic regardless(even if it is a tropical one
). I find its a question of aclimatising; if its meant to be hot wear a few extra clothes than you would normally do for a few days before and come the day you'll think its lovely and cool.
Hehe, luckily for me yank officers will be able to get away with not bothering with a jacket.
BTW, in case anyone was thinking they could take off their helmets to get cool ... they can't. The rule is that if you're without headgear you're not in the game!
thats me fucked then, i dont own a yank helmet or hat......
You can borrow my jeep cap
if its as hot as this? i might die.
you'll be rate
I have a spare M1 if you want to borrow Nige.
thanks steve, most kind.
