First into France
As part of 22nd Independent Parachute Company, British 6th Airborne Division, you will be among the first troops to land in France. The pathfinders parachuted into Normandy a full hour ahead of the main airborne assault and six hours before the amphibious troops hit the beaches. Once on the ground, your mission is to seize the drop zones and use special radio sets and signal lanterns to bring Allied aircraft onto the target areas. Pathfinders typically jump in small sections or “sticks” of about 18 paratroopers: some would assemble the beacons and lights others providing security.

Will you be the vanguard of the DDay invasion or will you be a defender of the Atlantic Wall?
